Established in 1986 by Terence K Beager, AMC Cargo Ltd. started life moving cargo to the US. With an appetite to grow, the business continued to expand its operations and in 1996 added warehousing and groupage to its portfolio of services from its facility in Essex.
2005 was a big year for AMC Cargo, becoming a nominated agent for Bahri (formally National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia) focusing on commercial cargo to Middle Eastern ports.
In 2016, we enjoyed our pearl anniversary celebrating 30 years of trading by securing a long term contract destined for one of the emerging markets.

We like to treat every customer the same regardless of size or stature and pride ourselves on our personal service. In fact, we have had working relationships in excess of 15 years for 50% of our customer base, so we must be doing something right!

We have successfully managed a wide range of projects and continue to support a number of ongoing contracts for many shippers to multiple final destinations. Working with a global network of partners and agents we have been able to provide complete solutions for a number of complex projects. Whether it be ensuring critical and sensitive documentation is provided to relevant bodies in an accurate and timely manner, or ensuring consignees have the maximum free time possible, we are confident we can meet project requirements, however complex.
